Job Introduction
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Manual Software Tester with experience in AI-driven testing approaches and Playwright to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our recruitment platform used by large enterprise clients, including major corporate organisations.
Working alongside the software development teams, the role combines traditional manual testing expertise with modern AI-assisted testing techniques and automation support using Playwright, with a strong focus on cross-device and cross-platform quality.
What you'll be doing:
Champion a high-performance QA culture focused on flawless software, where defects are rigorously prevented and promptly addressed.
Perform end-to-end manual testing of a SaaS recruitment platform across multiple browsers and devices, including desktops, smartphones, and tablets (iOS and Android).
Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
Validate functionality, usability, accessibility, performance, and data integrity of the platform.
Collaborate with our Principal Engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
Identify, log, track, and retest defects and record them in JIRA.
Support automation efforts using Playwright (writing, maintaining, and reviewing test scripts where required).
Leverage AI tools to enhance test coverage, generate test cases, and improve testing efficiency.
Conduct regression, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance support testing during release cycles.
Work with the Head of Engineering around the release process, ensuring that deadlines are met and there’s a healthy balance between feature and operational releases.
About You:
Proven experience as a QA manual tester in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
Hands-on experience testing SaaS products, preferably enterprise-level platforms.
Experience with Playwright for test automation or automation support.
High attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
The ability to learn hands-on and be eager to explore and extend your own product knowledge.
Be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and examine problems from multiple perspectives.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Continuous improvement mindset, especially in adopting AI-driven testing practices.
Keep up to date with industry best practices and identify areas for your own personal development and areas of improvement for the business.
Desirable Skills:
Basic knowledge of Git and other command-line tools.
An understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automated testing
Understanding of web security and penetration testing.
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
Experience of working with offshore Teams.
